NEW YORK, NY May 13, 2015 — On Saturday, June 27th, and Sunday June 28th 2015, the LADIES LOVE PROJECT presents its ninth POP-UP SHOP! – to be held at Rebelution Ink from 12pm – 8pm.

Williamsburg Brooklyn, a neighborhood flourishing with galleries, storefronts, restaurants,  and busy sidewalks – LLP is ecstatic to bring its 2015 SUMMER POP-UP SHOP Market to BK for the first time! We invite you to welcome a much anticipated summer with our favorite local and out of state artists and designers.

The Ladies Love Project, a brainchild of renowned street artist TOOFLY, sound sensation Patty Dukes who teamed up back in 2010 to bring together NYC’s most creative underground artists, and designers. These ladies felt it was important to keep the “local artisan spirit” alive in the changing face of New York City neighborhoods. The two-day-only event allows for an intimate, yet energetic “marketa style” shopping experience – designed to familiarize the community, consumers, media representatives, and trendsetters with artists/designers from NY as well as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Japan!

This year will be a fun filled, and colorful summer outdoors! LLP will welcome’s 20+ designers like; LADY SOUL FLY from Los Angeles who specializes in beautiful handmade jewelry which Ana Tijoux loves; Brooklyn designer BKLN TSHIRT FACTORY debuts her new cut & sew kids collection; SHIRO, hailing from Japan has some new, and funky styles; LADY FANCY NAILS will be stationed under the sunshine to rock some fresh live nail art; and graffiti artists WENCOD with MASTRO will be rock’n some custom airbrush works on hats and tees!

This year we also open up our first LLP MINI BAR! with $5 happy hour drinks and fresh fruit snacks to keep you hydrated. Have a sweet tooth? CUPCAKES BY JENNY KINNS is back with her fun and colorful cupcakes; MARTHA’S KITCHEN infamous chicken, beef, and vegetarian empanadas will hold you down if you get hungry, and this summer we welcome CHEF MODERN’S CARIBBEAN KITCHEN which is sure to make you lick the BBQ sauce off your fingers!  LLP will have plenty of sweet, savory, and palate satisfying treats for you, fam and friends all day!

CIRCA ’95’s REPH, and DJ ENGYMA will rock the 1’s and 2’s for non stop jams all day. Hip Hop, Classics, and more!

About TOOFLY

Maria Castillo a.k.a. TOOFLY is an NYC artist, community builder, and entrepreneur. Recognized in the early 90’s for her hard and fluid character style, she gained popularity as one of the few females excelling beyond her peers in the male-dominated graffiti scene. Founder of female arts collectives, like; YOUNITY, PROJECT GIRLZ, and Co-Founder of LLP. TOOFLY now runs her successful independent design company, STAY TRU, as she consults, designs, and develops a variety of projects and workshops. Her work has exhibited at many venues such as the Bronx Museum of Art, and can be found on public walls internationally. TOOFLY is featured across media outlets like Graffiti Women, Juxtapoz, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, and Latina Magazine.

About PATTY DUKES

Patty Dukes Co-Founder of Circa ’95 an independent Hip-Hop music and media group.  Puerto Rican & Dominican by way of The Bronx, Patty  rhymes seamlessly in English and Spanish.  Circa ’95 has performed all over the world gracing the stage with artists like MC LYTE, Krs-One, Pitbull, Nina-Sky, Joel Ortiz, Anita Tijoux and Mala Rodriguez. In venues like SOB’s, Museo Del Barrio and The Smithsonian Museum in DC. She has been featured on the HBO Latino shows “RoadTrip” and “Habla Ya” and her debut album “FREE LUNCH” is available through their website. When she is not performing or creating in the studio she teaches Hip-Hop, Theater, and Mixed Media Arts to young people through their organization the Rhyme Factory (www.rhymefactory.org).  Patty recently completed two artistic residencies, first with the Bronx Music Heritage Center curating The Circa ’95 Pop-Up Shop, and with Casita Maria facilitating the Rhyme Factory Master class.  Patty is currently touring and in the studio working on Circa ’95 second musical project.  Patty Dukes is also a resident Hip-Hop Artist at Carnegie Hall.  www.circa95.com

Reph is a Hip-Hop Artist, MC, producer and mixed media visual artist hailing from New York City.  Reph is a member of the Hip-Hop music group Circa ’95 and is currently a resident artist with Carnegie Hall.  He is also the founder of the Rhyme Factory a organization dedicated to persevering Hip-Hop culture through the art of MCing.  These days he can be found in the studio working with Circa ’95 and the Rhyme Factory. www.circa95.com

DJ Enygma was born and raised in the Bronx. An eclectic new schooler with a passion for music she has been featured as a resident DJ in the Bronx Museums “Bronx Stories” and on Bxrecords online radio show “Just Gimme the Mic.”  Currently she is a member of the Best Underrated Now Unified for all Ages Entertainment Company, or The B.U.R.N.
