VENUS. DIOSA DE AMOR.

December 16th, 2012 | Category: Art & Design,IN THE ZONE...

I’m finally all settled from my travels, and wrapping up the last of my 2012 projects. As I slowly mellow back into my mountain life in Ecuador my heart catches up with my thoughts at last. So I begin to draw and feel it out. My analytical mind begins to process everything from beginning to end. It’s been almost a year that I have been away from all that I love, with no set plans of return. There’s so much I have yet to explore! An overwhelming energy to create and love wholeheartedly like never ever before has come over me like the waves in a vast blue ocean. Escaping the box is one of the best things I ever did to get closer to what my spirit truly yearns for. The all inclusiveness of nature; freedom, love, and creation. Everywhere I go now I will find myself connecting with Venus – Diosa Del Amor. I may not be able to physically be in all the places I want to be, but my heart is there and I will always return as it has many times before…

Shortly after posting sketch I received a commission to paint it:) Here’s the process…

KIDROBOT POP UP SHOP, MIAMI

December 13th, 2012 | Category: Art & Design,Events,Exhibitions,TOOFLY SHOP NYC

I had given up doing toy customs but figured what the heck. I’ll rock one more! Kidrobot invited a few of the graff girls to rock a Munny during their Pop up Shop at Miami Art Basel. My schedule was so hectic during trip I didn’t get chance to stop by the showcase:( I’ll try and dig up flicks from the show. Until then here’s a sneek peek at my completed Munny Warrior. She came out DOPE! Thank you Phi for making it all happen on such a short notice. Luckily I had a chance to paint her while I visited my sister in Ft Lauderdale and everything worked out smoooooothly. Whew!

MIAMI TRIP 2012

December 12th, 2012 | Category: Day in the Life,Hommies,Travel

Soundtrack of my life. FUN IN THE SUN!!! Miami during December rocks. Got a chance to paint, exhibit, and most of all spend time with my loving friends vacay style. We rented a gorgeous vacation home – which I recommend is the best way to do Miami during these trips because you get it all +  it’s cheaper. We stayed in Coconut Grove near Calle 8 and Little Habana where we can get our morning cuban coffee on. Cute area! After I finished painting with the girls our days were spent sipping cranberry drinks at the FlavorPill event, swimming in the pool to some dope music, ciphering, grilling delicious marinated skirt steaks, partying like the crazies that we are, and making home cooked meals to cure our hangovers. It was so much fun!!! We made our rounds during Basel to support our fellow artists and enjoy the creative energy at Wynwood. If your an artist, or lover of the sunshine your ass needs to be here!

ART BASEL 2012

Showing the fellas some luv at POP gallery. Shout out to 2Esae, Ski, and Col. Good seeing you guys!

Finally got a chance to meet Travis!:) Giving a shout out to the FCNY crew!

ABSOLUTELY a must. The FlavorPill FREE LUNCH 3 day event sponsored by Absolute kicked off the afternoon like no other!

Drinks, hot pool, and a beautiful sunny day!

It’s not a party till you dance to some Biggie, even if it’s in the pool!

Shout out to my beautiful sister and her friends who strolled thru to say whadddup! LOVE YOU.

Our last day in Miami and we got it all in! Last chance for pool dips at our vacation home, cipher sessions, southbeach, and Little Habana for some cuban breakfast.

Shout out to our hommie Percy who made the quick troop from Boston for some FUN IN THE SUN!

Sometimes you just gotta jump in…

enjoy the sunshine…

and have fun…

I hate goodbyes. See ya later sounds better no?

Our last dining session at PANORAMA terrace in Coconut Grove. 5 min away from our vacay home. Peruvian cuisine. DELICIOUS. We recommend it highly.

LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Till next time:) Don’t forget the berry wine hahhahahahha

FEW & FAR, ART BASEL 2012

December 11th, 2012 | Category: Events,Graffiti / Street Art

Back from Miami and ready to rock these blog posts for ya’ll! I had a lot of fun on this trip. Especially painting with the Few&Far crew on the ONLY all women wall at Art Basel this year. The crew was able to lock in a nice big wall for everyone to get down. Shout out to HOPS for organizing us! I know how hard it can get to put these productions together, and I am so happy for the whole team that everything worked out. It always does:) Wall looks great, thank you ladies!

ABSOLUTELY ready:)

Shout out to Montana MTN colors for sponsoring the Few and Far crew this year! THANK YOU <3

This year Tati and I got to rock our characters together along with 179 and Ksera. Our section on wall was blues teals and greens…

It’s been a minute since I rocked a tone on tone piece, especially blues. Blue is a very peaceful color, and perfect for how I feel these days…IN LOVE and at PEACE…

Switching things up as the year comes to an end…the conclusion to my Love Warrior series ends with “Futuristic Lover”. Gonna go into some new shit next year watch out!

Tati & Glow

This was a beautiful place to paint. Nature, friends, and art what else can you ask for…

Much love to Meme for taking the Few & Far crew to new heights this year! Your support and love for the crew is awesome. Love ya gurl!

Final pics of Few & Far Wall coming soon:) Thank you everyone!!! til next time ladies:) XOXO
