DUNNY NECKLACE BY TARINA TARANTINO
Sooooooo it turns out my Toofly Dunny was chosen for a collaboration project between Kidrobot and jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino. Went to check them out on her site and I was like whoa $163.00? WHAT!!! yea I know…where’s my cut is all I gotta ask. Looks like it’s gonna be another day in the life of intellectual property rights…
LUCITE “DUNNY” NECKLACE
Part of the latest Kidrobot by TARINA TARANTINO Collection, this limited edition adjustable 18″ lucite and crystal necklace features a puff heart bead and a 2.75″ iconic Kidrobot “Dunny” vinyl toy pendant. Please note that these necklaces, like the toys, are sold “blind” – that is, you won’t know what color lucite or which Dunny you get until it arrives! Part of the fun!
P STAR RISING
My next stop was Battery Park at Vessey st. for the Tribeca Film Festival outdoor Drive-in documentary world premier: P Star’s Rising
I forget how much I need to get down here more often…
It’s so dope!!!
Set up was tight! plenty of seating everywhere…lucky for me I got there early I didn’t want to miss a NY beat. Plus I had to save mad chairs for my peeps…
Got a chance to meet Pricilla, and her dad for a quick second while they were being interviewed. She’s so ready for this, feel so proud:)
Younity crew made it just in time!

I LOVE MY PEOPLE:)
OMG, you gotta see this documentary! So authentic, real, and triste:( benidito…but she’s a rising star! She’s gonna make mad moves and ya need to keep an ear out for her. Dope young Latina MC on the path to a reality our community has been waiting for. I just hope all the bubble gum pop stuff she has to do to survive doesn’t get in the way of her artistic truths and community roots. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Ya gotta check it…
Shout out to Mr Peralta who trooped it all the way from P Star’s neighborhood in 207 st on his bike! Now that’s a dedicated footprint!
Had to take advantage of the entire day it was just mad nice out! We walked from the world financial center across town to the Seaport to catch the view, and possibly Diana who walked home across the Brooklyn Bridge! Another dedicated footprint:) Can’t wait until this city get’s rid of all the traffic downtown so only bikes, and public transport can help us get green. Yes…I’m on my green tip lately.
Can’t leave without some flicks…
Dope days like this have to be cherished and enjoyed to the fullest! Now I gotta go get ready for the Sunday BBQ and babe’s return home from his Canada snow trip. OMG I’ve missed him more than ever:(

It finally hit 80 degree weather in NY! Time to get the 007 activities rolling…
1st stop of my sunny Saturday afternoon; catching up with my latin side for brunch at Miss Favela
A Brazilian neighborhood bistro located on the southside edge of Williamsburg. Food is delicious!
My fellow virgo bud, and hommie for life Jose Rodriguez also known as Mr Latino Life is always minutes away from getting the party started.
Grub, drinks, live feijoada band, and samba dancing!
A few of these capirinas and we were all happy jitter bugs on the the dance floor. The caipivinho was my favorite especially if ya caught all my silly twitterz lol
Meeting good peoples are always moments away when you cherish your friendships.
thanks kid! see ya at the house jam:)

Been working on a bunch of illustration T designs this month. Happy I got back into drawing, it had been a serious minute since I pulled out the pencil and paper. My first batch is done, and I’m def on my new flow. It’s been there…slowly unraveling until I was ready to wake up and see what it all meant. Remnants of it now embedded forever on plastic, fabric, and paper. It’s finally making sense! I’m pretty damn excited!!! gotta grind…
In the meantime here’s a sneaky peek of “transform time” an illustration t-shirt design for METHODS ” FALL 09′ line. Stay tuned…
