NEW YORK, NY October 16, 2013 — On Saturday, November 16th, 2013, the LADIES LOVE PROJECT presents it’s 7th POP-UP SHOP at University Settlement from 12pm – 8pm. This fall, the LLP Pop-Up is bigger than ever, so we’re calling it the LLP Marketplace – and IT’S BACK- taking over the freshest community space in the heart of the LES at the infamous University Settlement! LLP Marketplace will be your ideal hub to get your pick of limited edition handmade visual/clothing/design art pieces, eco-friendly creations, funky items for kids and your home and so much more! We promise that out of the 25+ vendors, whether you love Vanilla Medallions, Lil Ego, Lady Soul Fly or our youngest vendors – 8 + 10 year olds, Lil Diva, and Lil Ani- there’s fresh items for every member of our community!
The LLP PROJECT, a brainchild of renowned street artist TOOFLY, sound sensation Patty Dukes & Reph of the Circa ‘95 duo and creative non-profit aficionado A.Mari, highlights some of NYC’s most creative underground artists and designers.  Our one-day-only pop-up event style truly boasts an intimate, yet extraordinary colorful shopping experience – designed to familiarize consumers, media and tastemakers with artists currently celebrating prominence.
LLP is excited to announce that beyond our twist on “traditional shopping,” the Marketplace will be packed + poppin’ with family-friendly interactive experiences such as:  LLP Photobooth with Samantha Morales, Nails Booth with Lady Fancy Nails, and Tarot Cards with Shana Louallen. In addition, there’s plenty of space for lil ones and older ones to get down all day long!

Our LLP fall event venue, University Settlement, is a community arts and culture event space, located at 184 Eldridge St, plays host to the eclectic mix of talent. LLP is honored to be again partnering with this NYC cultural cornerstone. The LLP founders have always strived to keep the ‘SHOP rooted in it’s mission, exposing up and coming artists with the city community in an inviting, energetic and welcoming environment. Celebrating the artist is a task LLP takes on with love and this fall — the LADIES LOVE PROJECT MARKETPLACE doesn’t get any more New York than this!
“Returning to the LES for our Holiday ‘13 Shop feels like we’re coming back home to fam and friends,” says Patty Dukes and Reph of Circa ‘95. “New vendors reach out to be a part of the shop… old vendors keep coming back, and so does our audience –  that makes everyone happy and continues the cycle of building community.”
“On an international level, art is universal language. I love coming back home to my city to work with my LLP team, my fam, my friends, to make each ‘SHOP better than the one before.” – TOOFLY.   “It’s going to be an energetic party for loved ones young and old – we hope to see you at the ‘SHOP! ” – A.Mari.
