Just finished rocking one of my favorite pieces I’ve done this year for the upcoming ROOFTOP LEGENDS event being held next Saturday in the lower east side. I’m really happy with the way it came out, especially since I totally freestyled it from beginning to end. With no sketch in hand, and a bunch of scrap paint left over from my gigs I dove right into this talllllllllll wall triple my size! Painting something so big takes a lot more time out of my crazy schedule, but luckily the practice over the years has helped improve my speed, and aerosol skills. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come with my work, my beauties, my messages. The transformation feels amazing. I have a huge year of change approaching and the love warrior spirit is on my side…

(((Drumroll please ))) Toofly’s “HEY LADIES” limited edition art prints are officially SOLD OUT! That’s right, let the collector frenzy begin. It took a minute but 150 prints are now in the hands of the very few people who made the investment to own my very first print series:) THANK YOU ALL for your support. I enjoyed creating these silk screen illustrations because it gave my a chance to create a collectors set that can easily travel. The series showcased at various galleries and spaces around the world. They also gave me the opportunity to help others when it came to donating art for fundraisers, and charities. Making art prints of my work is a great way to spread the love, and now it’s time to work on a new series! Super excited….can you guess what’s coming? I can’t wait to share…

Until then, if your looking for the last chance to own your set make your way to the Yours Truly shop in Brooklyn NY!!! ( 1007 Broadway ) Shout out to Jenny for reaching out through Twitter to get the last set to showcase at the opening of her new shop. Thanks girl! Zoooooom…..

TOOFLY X ANARKIA X SPAZECRAFTE
Sunshine at last! well sort of with, dabs of showers here and there. Easter weekend got the painting season started. Anarkia was in town visiting from Brazil, and our good friend Spaze Crafte invited us to his rooftop in BK to rock a little collabo. Sweet, and beautiful lady…def building and planning what we can do together back in Rio. I’ve been meaning to go there on one of these trips, and now I have an amazing friend I can stay with:) THANKS GIRL! Anarkia is an amazing woman artist and organizer back in Brazil working with women against violence through her street art work. I think our meeting at this time is right on point. I look forward to our collaboration together, more after the jump!

STAYING TRUE…
Busy season seems to be getting here sooner than years before which leaves me scrambling for personal time. All I wanna do during winter is focus on what I love to do. My own shit!!! It’s all good, I’m gonna make sure I drop some dope pieces by spring. Here’s a sneak peek at a new design I’m working on. No fonts, and no shortcuts here. If you wanna be skilled at your craft, and respected for your original flows you gotta put in the time. Get busy creating from the heart or get busy wasting away the spirit that gives you meaning. I remember the days I spent hours and hours in my room drawing and painting before the computer moved in and did a Speedy Gonzales on me. I haven’t been the same since. Luckily I stayed on top of my traditional tools, and it saved my life. You won’t ever find me blending in to the collage of garbage that’s put out on the daily. Nope. The more we stay true to ourselves, the more we enjoy life and give life. That my friends is where the true gems exist.

Marker hand styles, by yours truly…

Ready for print…

RICKY POWELL X TOOFLY PHOTO COLLABO
I’ve been in the studio since 7am this morning working on a bunch of new works. I enjoy deadlines. I get super focused, and motivated. SOOo I’m on board for this photo collaboration with Ricky Powell for some upcoming spreads on FRANK151. I’ve never painted photographs before so I was excited to give it a try. I had taken a few hours to build up the inspiration and once that marker hit the paper I didn’t stop. I swear making art is a sweet sweet rush! It just fills you up like love. I don’t know why I don’t paint as often? I need to have a talk with myself about this. Anyway…these came out dope!!! I’m really happy with them. I got a new little steelo going on that’s surfacing off some of my street work. Gonna see how far I run with it. Shout out to Ricky Powell for the invitation to be part of this collabo joint;)

RAIN OR SHINE!
Linked up with my boy WERDS this past weekend at a Brooklyn rooftop. It’s been a minute since I painted with the fellas…

The weather was all out of wack earlier, but we rocked this wall straight through the goblets of rain drops. Not without it’s share of “ahhh hell RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!!!”

Once the storm passed the sun beams peaked out and it was sOOOoooo worth it! Sometimes you just gotta bear the passing storms. Glad I didn’t bail. { TROOPER }
Werds was nonstop though, rain or shine!

We ran out of paint at one point, but still managed to rock it. I need to remember to triple quadruple pack my paint next time…

On my 10th break. Enjoying the fresh breeze, rays of light, and clicking away…

The Magician having fun in the sun…

Found some interesting things up on this roof. Especially this drawing. Hidden from view. It’s amazing what you can find when you explore. Artist – unknown.

Peeps with the wicked stylez stopped by to join the fun…” Yeo bro get me a beer!” lol…

I was strolling through the roof and found some urban gardens. Ahhhh yes…It’s a sign…

Nature is the shit! Tomatitos anyone?

All about the good times, and good peoples. Life is sweeeeeeet, thanks fellas!!!
